In this release

In this release, we are introducing enhancements to our Virtual Agents, including customizable voice style, better background noise detection, and stronger backend security. We have also expanded Auto Provisioning support for new Grandstream and Yealink devices, removed Email Body length limits on Voicemail and Fax email templates, and resolved several system bugs as well.

IMPORTANT NOTE! When upgrading from version 5.0.59 or older, follow the following procedure (click to expand)

 

If you are upgrading a Spark system, you may ignore the special instructions.
For any other system of version 5.0.59 or lower please perform the following steps:

1. run
yum install xorcom-centos-release

2.  run
yum update

This will ensure the system will be updated from the correct repositories.

Virtual Agents

  • Background Noise Detection: Improved the virtual agent to better distinguish between actual caller speech and background noise, ensuring a smoother and more reliable experience without accidental interruptions or timer resets.
  • Enhanced Voice Tone Control: For virtual agents using Hebrew and Cebuano languages, you can now fine-tune the delivery style of the Gemini TTS by adding a custom gemini_tts_style_prompt to your Advanced Settings. To enable this feature for other languages, set the gemini_tts_model parameter to gemini-3.1-flash-tts-preview and add your custom gemini_tts_style_prompt. We have updated the default configuration for all agents using Gemini TTS to ensure a consistently calm, professional, and courteous tone out-of-the-box.
  • Parameter Import Validation: When importing advanced parameters, you will now be alerted immediately if the file is invalid, rather than after the overwrite prompt.

Auto Provisioning

  • Grandstream: Added support for Grandstream WP810, WP822, WP825, and DP752 (DECT) devices.
  • Yealink: Added support for Yealink T85W, T87W, T88W, T88V PRO, and CP925 devices.

General

  • Email Notifications: Removed the 255-character limit for Voicemail and Fax email templates so you can write longer, more detailed messages.

Bug Fixes

  • Virtual Agents: Fixed an issue where background noise would mistakenly interrupt the virtual agent, and trick it into unnecessarily asking a new question.
  • Fixed a regression issue that prevented users from deleting a Dial Profile, Radius Server, Recording Prompts.
  • Fixed issue with newer GW00XX gateways provisioning due to incorrect default network settings.
